Next Steps

Your GEDCOM files are winging their way to our YourTrees admins. They will Import your files into trees. This may take few days because they are all part-time volunteers, so please bear with us

When you receive notification your trees have been imported please check that everything looks as it should, in particular can you see details of:

• living people (only their names should be visible)?
• any deceased people, where there is sensitivity around the display of their details?

If you do see private information, please check whether it was correctl tagged in you local tree.

• If it was, email YourTrees Admin for assistance

  You will also receive

  • Your certificate of ownership - if it's your first submission
  • Your personal To Do list showing the data modifications we made to your tree so you can check and change your local entries
