Research at Home Using Your Local Library’s Online Resources

This talk will look at some of the resources that local library services in the UK make available free of charge to their members for online use at home. This session to be will up to date and will reflect the iterative changes made in the availability of datasets during 2024.  

This talk is free to members of Berkshire Family History Society, and we request a donation of £5 from non-members. Pre-booking is required, because the meeting link will be emailed in advance. Booking ends one day before event.

    Paul Gaskell

    Paul Gaskell has been researching his family history for the last forty-five years. He served as a trustee and executive committee member of Oxfordshire FHS for seventeen years and, more recently, was Hon General Secretary of Oxfordshire Record Society for five years. Much of Paul’s working life has been spent as a trainer, tutor and coach, experience that he now uses for the benefit of those wanting to advance their family history research.
