Description
This booklet contains a transcription of the baptismal entries recorded in the various registers maintained by the circuit and covers the period 1817-1874. The Swindon Wesleyan Methodist Circuit was formed in 1817 from the Hungerford Circuit and covered a large area centred on Swindon including Clanfield (Oxfordshire), Faringdon (Berkshire), Highworth and Wootton Bassett (both Wiltshire).
